Even professional athletes cry

The New York Giants upset the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday by a score of 21-17.
The loss by the Cowboys made them the first number one seed in the National Football Conference (NFC) to lose in the semi-finals since the NFL went to the 12-team playoff format in 1990.
After the game, Dallas' Terrell Owens was asked whether he felt teammate Tony Romo's vacation to Mexico last weekend with Jessica Simpson had anything to do with his lacklustre performance. Owens responded by defending his quarterback as tears began to run down his face to his quivering lip.
"You can point the finger at him, you can talk about the vacation, and if you do that, it's really unfair. That's my teammate ... We lost as a team."
Turning on the duct work seems to be a methodical action with professional athletes these days. It has gone beyond the traditional tears at the retirement press conferences and the occasional pause at the hall of fame induction speech. We as fans have seen some of our major role models in the community weep on national television, some with good reason, and of course, some without.#5: Adam Morrison - Small Forward, Charlotte Bobcats
When Morrison was playing college basketball for Gonzaga University, his team took on, and fell, to the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA) in the March Madness tournament. After losing in the final seconds by just two points, Morrison rolled around centre court balling his eyes out. Sources still aren't sure whether he was upset about the loss or just had an itchy mustache.

#4: Tony Romo - Quarterback, Dallas Cowboys
Last year - The Cowboys are down by one in the NFC wild card game. Nineteen yards out, Romo fumbles the snap on the field goal attempt, scrambles one yard shy of a first down. Cowboys lose. Romo cries, but girlfriend Carrie Underwood gives him a hug. This year - Romo goes on vacation with new girlfriend Jessica Simpson a week before the NFC semi-final. Cowboys get upset after another poor playoff performance from Romo. At this rate in two years (and two more girlfriends ) the Cowboys will finally make it to the Superbowl.

#3: Kobe Bryant - Shooting Guard, Los Angeles Lakers
Kobe holds a press conference, with his wife, to answer questions about being sued by a Colorado woman who accused him of sexual assault in a hotel room. Kobe began crying while telling his wife how much he loved her. That must have been one of the reasons he (admittedly) committed adultery.

#2: Mark Cuban - Owner, Dallas Mavericks
This past year, Mavericks power forward Dirk Nowitzki received the NBA's Most Valuable Player award, and as Cuban was introducing Nowitzki to the press, he began to cry while explaining how nice of a guy Nowitzki was. Or maybe Cuban could have been thinking about the two-time MVP he let walk away two years prior, Steve Nash.

#1: Andre Agassi - Singles Tennis, eight-time Grand Slam Champion
In 2006, Agassi, arguably the greatest tennis player of all time, left the game at the US Open in New York, only to break down on the microphone in front of a packed house. Before leaving for good, Agassi was quoted as saying, "The scoreboard shows that I lost today, but what the scoreboard doesn't show is what I feel.
