On Nov. 20 the UN General Assembly's 192-member human rights committee passed a Canada-led resolution to censure Iran. Passed with 74 in favour, 48 against and 59 abstentions, the resolution censures Iran for its human rights record, including the arbitrary arrests, detentions and the disappearance of Iranians who protested after the elections this year.

VICTORIA (CUP) - Corporate Canada is still mostly a man's world. In 2007, a Catalyst Census survey found that women held only 13 per cent of board positions in Canada's 500 largest firms.
