I'm all for activism. While I don't ever take the time, nor can I ever really muster the interest - feigned or otherwise - to ever take part in it, I appreciate its existence and those who advocate on behalf of whatever unjust cause has ruffled their feathers (no pun intended, well kind of) at any given time.
I'm going to tell you all a little story. On a day like this not too long ago a young student at a university much like this one was heading home from a long day of class. He arrived just in time to see his bus, specifically the 116 Brock-Glenridge bus, getting ready to pull away.
Brock University, the place where I came to start my scholastic journey; to learn and study and become an academic. Too bad Brock forgot to tend to the most important aspect of academia; the books, the resources, the space; the library. Sure, they renovated, but was it really enough? I love my school, I really do.
