Unity (1918) hits the stage with dramatic portrayal

Brock University's School of Fine and Performing Arts will try their hand at exposing the lost narratives of Canada's coming-of-age through the darkly comedic play, Unity (1918). Unity (1918) was written by playwright Kevin Kerr and published in 2002, shortly thereafter it became the recipient of the Governor General's Award.

Royal Madness and Tragedy in BUFS's Curse of the Golden Flower

Curse of the Golden Flower is the latest film by director Zhang Yimou, perhaps best known in North America for his spectacular martial-arts films Hero and Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon. Though Curse of the Golden Flower is not a martial-arts film, there are some impressive fight scenes, one in particular being an especially brilliant scene shot under moonlight.
