A lesson

By Liam Dynes

I learned something this past week. I learned that I can pretty much flat-out insult not only a newly elected student union executive, but the entirety of Brock's student populace, and get no more than the 120 word response over in the letters to the editor.

Adventures in digital cable

By Liam Dynes

There has been a new addition to the 11 Salina household: Cogeco digital cable. An entire digital universe is now at my fingertips. The coveted "Select All" package, at a discounted rate of $43.99 a month, pipes in hundreds of high quality channels, no doubt crippling my already less-than-empty social and personal calendar.

Sex @ Brock #2: The Great Debate

By Anastasia Biberhausen

I have a friend who's only slept with four people, he says. Unless you count blow jobs, in which case the number skyrockets to the mid-20s. It's part of Faith Fair 2004, a new initiative reflecting the diversity of faith in Canadian society. Day one of Faith Fair (March 2) will see tables from groups ranging from Buddhists to Loretto Sisters to evangelical Protestants in the Thistle Corridor.

Letter to the editor

In regards to Freddy Yeboah, how dare you cut him down. He hasn't even done anything and you are already saying that he won't be able to cut it.

Women's swim team

Letter to the editor

I am writing on behalf of the women's swim team, in response to the article in last week's Press. Many of us were surprised, disappointed, and even insulted by the various comments regarding our performance at the OUA's. This was not caused by Press journalists themselves; they were the unfortunate mediators of what I would consider to be inappropriate and wholly disheartening feedback.
