Ted Mouradian, a Brock grad and motivational speaker, explains how you can deal with a situation where 'playground rules' are in place.
The phrase 'earning a living' may conjure up a plethora of negative thoughts such as enduring the same monotonous routine for an unworthy cause. Many students can relate to this perspective during the course of the common student job. Julie Oosterhof is a third year psychology major at Brock who has discovered a job that offers flexible hours, creativity, opportunities for meeting people and traveling. She is also able to partake in a movement she feels deeply passionate about, by self-employment through Healthy Solutions.
