Ontario Government to hear from citizens to reduce poverty

Since the election last fall, the Liberals, under the leadership of Dalton McGuinty, have promised to take a serious look at poverty levels in Ontario, and create a plan for its reduction by the end of the year. The Ontario government has also launched a web site in order to have an open forum for citizens to voice their opinions and to get some public input on their Poverty Reduction Strategy in order to learn more about the issue in Ontario.

The Brock men's baseball team has added three Team Ontario players for the upcoming fall season in catcher Cameron Graham, right-handed pitcher Dan Callaghan and infielder Matt Kissel. Coach Jeff Lounsbury hopes the trio can add to an already potent line-up that fell last October by a single run in the Ontario University Association Championship-deciding game against three-time champion Western.
