Winter Term Events Hosted by Student Life

With a successful first term of the 2018/2019 school year past us, Student Life and Community Experience looks to increase student involvement and engagement during the second term of the school year in order to create a more appealing environment to students, faculty and staff of Brock University. Student Life and Community Experience acts on their motto: ‘by students, for students; with Niagara, for Niagara’.

Their aim is to help Brock students make the most of their university experience by hosting events around the Niagara community and on campus. There are several ways to get involved this semester, including the LEAP Reconnect, the On-Campus Blood Drive, VolunteerFEST and Jobs On Campus. Each of these events will connect you with Brock students, faculty and staff while allowing you to gain the knowledge and experience of being involved on campus.

LEAP Reconnect is an event based on LEAP, a community event hosted by Student Life and Community Experience for incoming Brock students. This event allows students to participate in workshops to improve your skills, learn about the variety of resources on campus and aid a local community partner during a volunteer opportunity. LEAP Reconnect allows you to reconnect with the friends and community partners that you made during your first year at Brock and experience community in a whole new way. This event will be held on January 10 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. in the Earp Fireplace Lounge in Earp Residence and you do not want to miss out on free food and a time to reconnect.
