Niagara Regional Police have arrested a suspect after an altercation in Thorold on Monday evening.
According to the NRP, around 7:30 p.m. police were called to Tuliptree Road and Winterberry Boulevard. A man in his 20’s was stabbed, and transported to a local hospital before he was taken to an out-of-town hospital, according to the police. The man is being treated for serious, but non-life threatening injuries.
A 23-year old woman is facing alleged charges of aggravated assault and assault with a weapon. The suspect is being held in custody pending a bail hearing on October 24.
A second man was reportedly had minor injuries as well.
There have been social media posts about the male in serious condition being a Brock student, however there’s been no confirmation.
