New funding website

Early last week, Brock University launched a new website that houses funding opportunities for staff and faculty to access. These opportunities are intended to provide individuals with funding that is relevant to their field of work. The range of options is quite vast, including funding for research, international activity, industry partnerships and general university operations. The site is user-friendly, with an easy-to-use search engine that narrows down the options by subject, type of sponsor or area of focus. Visit the site at brocku.ca/funding-sources to start finding these opportunities now.

UNICEF Brock to host Valentine’s Day event

UNICEF Brock is hosting their third annual Valentine’s Day Roses event on Feb. 12 and 13 from 12:00 to 4:00 p.m. All funds that are raised from this event will be going towards supporting causes for which that UNICEF is advocating. Students are free to choose between 750 unique roses of various colours, priced at $3 each. The location of this vendor is still being determined, so make sure to follow this student-run club on Twitter @UNICEFBrock and like them on Facebook at facebook.com/unicefbrock.
