International Education Week at Brock

This week – Nov. 12-16, 2012 – Brock will unite with over 100 countries to recognize the role of international students by celebrating International Education Week (IEW). Various events across campus will take place to highlight how students studying abroad help to generate the diverse and unique experience that is offered here at Brock.
The goal of the event is to raise awareness amongst Canadians about understanding the significant contributions that international students make within our country and many others across the globe.
Partaking in International Education Week at Brock is a great way to show support as a student by acknowledging the impact that international education makes on our social, economic and cultural well-being, while supporting Canada’s ongoing efforts to engage on the international stage.
IEW is made possible with the participation of education stakeholders from across the country. During the week-long celebration, events are organized by individuals, schools, colleges, universities, associations, businesses, governments and non-governmental organizations (NGOs), to raise the profile and highlight the value of international education.
As the pressures of school remain constant and exam time is quickly approaching, take your mind off studying for a few hours and check out a few of the festivities that are taking place on campus all week. Some of the events will be considered Participation Passport Events, so be sure to bring your student card along with you.
